Dragon and Horse

This piece is perhaps my all time favorite piece of jewelry I have ever sculpted. It was created as a commission from a dear friend and mentor. It features a gorgeous piece of calico lace jasper in which the dragon and horse and butterfly were already visible. They all reside in Scotland now!
In other news I have completed my Firewalk Instructor Certification and am busily coding up a website separating my healing work and more bardic work from this art site. Stay tuned for the link when it goes live!

Learning to make sweet (or fierce!) fairy dragons is fun and simple! With Christmas fast approaching who wouldn't want a tree full of buzzing, fluttering tiny dragons? In this class you will create your own detailed tiny dragon friend out of polymer clay. I can hear you now, "but dragons are hard to sculpt!". You will be amazed at what your hands will make as we focus on fun and learning how to build up complexity from basic shapes. You will learn how to anchor the wings and incorporate various fibers into your polymer clay work. All materials are included, just bring your creativity.
Workshop Length: 2 hours (due to the curing time of the clay) Limit: 15 Cost: $40 See classes page for registration information.

I am excited to announce a new line of mythic jewelry. Each one of a king piece embodies the energy of a Celtic mythic figure or tells the story of a particular Celtic myth. It is like wearing a story around your neck. What could be more magical than becoming a walking myth! Here are the first two of the pieces in the collection. The Morrigan and Bloduewedd. My second staff is all complete. I am just buzzing with excitement at the new possibilities expoxy has opened up to me. I can now make all the stuff that was in my mind that was either too big or too polymer clay was way to weak for. Busy getting ready for a very busy summer show and class schedule!
